Charlee's Chawk Paint has been a very hot item in our showroom. I know by now you've heard of chalk paint, but maybe you're not quite sure what it's popularity is all about. The beauty of chalk paint is that there is little to no prep involved to use it. If you have an entire bedroom suite that is stained, or maybe it's been previously painted.....you do not have to sand it down or prime it in any way. The only things you need to do is be sure and clean the furniture real good and if you have any chipping paint or any deep knot holes you don't want to show you would want to sand the chipping and wood putty the holes. Most of the time, 2 coats will do the trick. Sometimes a piece may need 3 coats depending on how heavily it is poly'd or sealed. That's it....easy as that! Chalk paint has a beautiful farmhouse finish that is even more beautiful when you distress it by sanding it around the edges and grooves. After you have finished painting, apply a chalk paint wax to seal it. You can choose a clear wax or a dark wax if you want to antique it further. We will have Charlee's Chawk Paint waxes & brushes coming very soon! Here are some customer pics that have purchased Charlee's Chawk Paint and been thrilled with the results!
