Halloween has come and gone and Thanksgiving is upon us. When we think of Thanksgiving our mind usually always go straight to the food. However, when I think of Thanksgiving, I can't help but think of the time of year and what that means: a time to reflect and be thankful for your blessings throughout the year, leaves falling, pumpkins, crisp air, colors of brown, orange & gold. This makes it very easy to pull together some Fall décor that will make your home feel cozy and thankful! You don't have to go all out and spend lots of money. You can put touches in your entry, porch, living room and kitchen that will be just enough! Of course if you want to go all out because your just that awesome, I will not discourage it! :)
Let's look at some great examples of Thanksgiving décor!
How can you go wrong with mums, pumpkins and a scarecrow? I know maybe your thinking what is special about this? I'm thinking that this timeless look is just that because nothing needs to be changed!
Simple can still be eye catching. With the banner, bits of foliage & the small pumpkins and candles it fits like a charm!
Here is a good craft project . Challenge your artistic side to see if you can pull it off :)
Here is another crafty project the kids / grandkids would have fun doing. A little construction paper, glue and feathers from Michaels or Hobby Lobby and you're set for an afternoon of fun.
I adore the elegance of this mantle décor. The window frame in front of the fire box covered in an orange and white chevron fabric is really adorable! Just think a little outside the box and you will not go wrong.
Take some twine, construction paper, laundry clips and make a "thankful" statement! White pumpkins with silver and white candle holders make it so elegant!
